Medic returns to Panathinaikos after a month
Sofia Medit’s Yiannis Kalmazidis will be available from next week, returning to Panathinaikos.
He joined in June Panathinaikosleft in January and is returning in late February Sofia Medic.
The 32-year-old Serbia centre-back was forced to resign after it was not possible to resolve her husband’s residence permit issue, but a month later she agreed to rejoin the squad and join Clover for the remainder of the season.
The veteran player would end the year in a Serbian team but she preferred to return to Greece and finish what she left midway as the man would follow her back to Athens. In fact, she has planned to travel next Monday and be available for the Cup’s Final Four.
