AEK – PAOK 3-1: Superior Union advanced to the final with a surprise
PAOK won the first set, but then AEK won the next three sets and advanced 3-1 to the final of the cup where they will face Panathinaikos.
AEK will be the opponents of Panathinaikos in the final of the cup after they won a 3-1 set against PAOK in the second semifinal.
The Union had an excellent day with Lambrini Konstantinidou, who distributed her team’s game exceptionally well. Silva and Calderon were excellent while Kulikova did a great job too.
On the other hand, PAOK had many ups and downs in their performance and with the exception of the set they won in the remaining three, they were chasing the score early.
In this way, Panathinaikos and AEK will go head-to-head on Saturday night (03/11, 21:30 ERT3) to claim the first title of the year in women’s volleyball.
