Avgenakis congratulates Olympiakos on winning the Challenge Cup
Deputy Sports Minister Lefteris Avgenakis congratulated Olympiakos on winning the Challenge Cup with his post on social media.
On Wednesday night, Olympiacos were the winners of their final challenge cup against Maccabi and thus celebrated the third European title in its history in men’s volleyball.
Lefteris Avgenakis tweeted his congratulations for the Red and Whites on their success, but also referred to the European progress of Greek sides in general.
“Congratulations to the Olympiakos men’s volleyball team to win the CEV Challenge Cup. This year’s European course of our teams is excellent (Panathinaikos in the semifinals), supported by state funding through betting, they develop the sport and promote Greece.” He wrote.
