Superior PAOK with Den Dries as star player won 3-0 sets against Panathinaikos

PAOK, led by Den Dries, achieved a comfortable win over Panathinaikos, who played without the injured Kovar, and achieved a 1–0 win in the playoff series.

PAOK, led by Dan Dries, halted the 5-0 loss to Panathinaikos, earned a comfortable 3-0 sets win and made it 1-0 in the playoff series. The Cloverleaf entered Thessaloniki without the injured Kovar, who appeared to be missing badly from the greens.

The hosts were superior in every area except for missed serves and with Den Dries and Rapti on an excellent day, they left no place for Panathinaikos who had several of their players on a bad day, allowing PAOK to achieve a comfortable victory.
