The incident happened in a hotel in Istanbul, where the Italian Novara delegation, who had traveled to Turkey with Etsasimbasi Dynavit for the second semi-final of the Champions League, was staying.
The Italian team was eliminated from the competition after losing 3 sets.
The causes that led to the tragic event have not yet been clarified, the investigations are ongoing.
