Act one in the Volley League final between Olympiakos and PAOK
At 19:15 in Rentis (ERT-3, LIVE from Sportish) the first service for the final of the Volley League between Olympiakos and PAOK. The title will be decided in the three victories.
Volley League final time has come, Olympiakos and PAOK claim the title with three wins.
The red-whites, who finished first in the regular season, have home advantage and receive the North doubleheader in the first final between the two teams on Tuesday (April 18) at “Melina Merkouri” (7:15 p.m. ERT-3 , LIVE from Sportish).
Olympiacos, after losing the League Cup, have been solely focused on the final goal of the season, which is nothing other than winning the league and returning to the top after 2021.
In the semi-finals of the Volley League, the red and white eliminated Milos with 3-0 victories.
Also PAOK prepares for the final stretch of the season with the goal of the 4th championship in its history and the first since 2017. Josko Milenkoski’s team are at home disadvantage and will be hoping for a win in Rentis to have the home field advantage.
To qualify for the final, Dikefalos eliminated Panathinaikos in the Volley League semifinals with 3-0 victories.
This is the 80th derby between the two sides since 1998, when the new scoring system was introduced. Olympiacos leads with 60-19 wins.
