Lamia won a 3-0 set against Aegaleos to secure their presence in the Women’s Volley League for next year.
AO will play in the top division of women’s volleyball for the fourth year in a row. Lamias 2013. Elias Angeli’s team defeated Aegaleo in Game 3 of the Women’s Volley League Playoffs, winning 3-1 sets and winning 2-1 to stay in the third category.
On the contrary, despite their best efforts, Aegaleo failed to stay in the Women’s Volley League and was relegated to the Women’s Pre League.
Lamia had 16 blocks in three sets, Andromachi Chioga had 5, Ana Mebus and Vania Varbanova had 4 each, while American diagonal player Madison Rose Wegg was the winner with 21 points at 62% offensive efficiency (18/29 completed attacks).

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.
