After an exciting match that was decided in detail, AEK defeated Panathinaikos 3-1 in Marousi and the final qualifier will be played in a third home game.

Volleyball fans enjoyed a terrifying twists and turns match between Panathinaikos and AEK where Union won 3-1 sets in Maroussi.

The semifinals were level again and the derby began, with the picture not changing, going from 6-8 for AEK to 11-8 for PAO. The Greens led by 15-13, but their mistakes put AEK’s run at 15-17. PAO equalized 19-19 with an ace from Papafotiou and with two penalties from Yellow and Black they went 21-20 ahead, only Calderon responded with a block to make it 21-22 but Hatziefstratiadou put PAO ahead again (23-22 ). But that was the last green point when Kulikova equalized, Calderon countered to make it 23:25 and Kulikova closed the set for AEK with a block.


Union, who had psychology on their side, turned 6-6 into 6-10 with PAO constantly chasing the score (8-10, 9-13, 12-14) to go 18-22 . Medits took the change, Anthoulis finished two points and the result went to 21-22. The opportunity PAO sought to equalize came at 23:24, but Kulikova stopped Anthoulis in the block
