Olympiacos’ contacts with Djuric are well advanced
Twelve years after his departure from Olympiacos, Dimitris Tzurich is poised to return to the big port, with the Red-Whites in advanced talks with the Greek center with the new season as a backdrop.
Olympiacos won the Challenge Cup this year and are currently claiming the title of Greek champions in the Volley League finals against PAOK (scoring 1-1 in the series of finals, with the Piraeus team’s home field advantage). does not prevent the management of the Piraeus team from making their plans for the new season.
This design also includes Dimitris Djuricwith the 33-year-old Greece centre-back having worn the red and white shirt for five years (2006-2011) and being in advanced talks with Piraeus to return and end his career at Olympiacos after missing out on a year and two has Greece as a player from Finikas Syros.
In case the deal goes through, Piraeus will take an important step to solve the new season’s puzzle as soon as possible as Pagenk and Koumendakis’ contract extensions have already been achieved.
Whatever the outcome of the talks with Djuric, the priority at Olympiakos is the final and all decisions regarding next year’s schedule will be finalized after the end of the current one.
