Kovar also renewed with Panathinaikos
After Andreas Fragos, Panathinaikos also extended the contract of Jiri Kovar, who signed for another season.
On Thursday (May 4th) Panathinaikos announced the extension of the cooperation with Jiri Kovar, who has extended his contract until 2024.
The amateur Panathinaikos announced that the 34-year-old Italian Czech would stay with the team for another year. The agreement had been known since the beginning of April and was officially announced today. Kovar will be the duo of extremes for another season with Franco.

“Panathinaikos Sports Club announces the extension of its partnership with Jiri Kovar for the 2023-2024 competitive season for the men’s volleyball division.
The veteran Italy winger will continue wearing the trefoil shirt in the new season, strengthening the department in achieving their national and European goals.
Jiri Kovar told pao1908: “I am very happy to stay in the team. My wish for the new season is that we achieve the goals that we didn’t achieve this year.”
