Panathinaikos announced on Tuesday (September 5) the signing of 25-year-old passer Derek Epp, who has agreed to a 2023-24 season.
Panathinaikos continues to strengthen itself for the new season and on Tuesday (September 5th) announced the start of its collaboration with the 25-year-old Canadian passer-by. Derek Ep
Announcement by Panathinaikos:
“Panathinaikos AO announces the start of its partnership with Derek Epp for the 2023-24 competitive season for the men’s volleyball division.
In another important transfer step, the association continued with the takeover of Canadian passer Derek Epp.
The 25-year-old (1.96 m) passer started his career in Canada with the Trinity Western Spartans, where he stayed for five years (2017-2022).
He came to Europe last season and competed in Arago de Sète, France, where he finished seventh in the championship while being a key member of Canada’s national team.
In the 2021-22 season, he was named Canadian Championship MVP and 2021 Pan American Cup Best Passer.
Derek Epp told pao1908.com: “I am very happy to come to Panathinaikos. It is an association with a long history and high goals. I can’t wait to get started. I want to help as much as possible from my side to achieve all our goals.”
