The icon Stella Christodoulou left Olympiakos after 12 years and 17 trophies

Flag raising for the Olympiacos women’s volleyball department as legendary captain Stella Christodoulou resigns from the team after 12 years and 17 trophies.

A cycle of 12 years has closed for Stella Christodoulou and Olympiakos. The Red and Whites’ emblematic leader left the team full of experience and trophies after they won 17 trophies together. With a very nice announcement, the club said goodbye to the international passer-by and thanked her for her many years of service to Olympiakos.

The announcement of the amateur Olympiakos in detail:

“23.8.2011. A…simple date then for Olympiakos. Yet 12 years later, this date will remain indelibly engraved in the history of the Legend Women’s Volleyball Team. The day Stella Christodoulou officially wore the red and white jersey! Back then 20 years old, with the whole future ahead of her, Stella moved to the big port. Neither she nor anyone else could have guessed what was to come. Eight championships, eight cups, one European cup, the Historic Challenge Cup 2018. A total of 17 trophies from a total of 18 Olympiacos in the women’s volleyball division!

Stella Christodoulou has achieved everything at Olympiakos. She honored our club and the captain’s armband, she gave her soul on the pitches too! Stella, an iconic leader, a human being with dignity, ended her successful “tenure” at Legend. Stella, thanks for everything! We wish you all the best for your sporting and personal life.

We’ll meet Again!”
