Kelesidis returns to Panathinaikos
Erasitechnis Panathinaikos announced the acquisition of 26-year-old Ilioni Kelesides, continuing the line-up of the volleyball team’s roster.
THE Ilioni Kelesides will return to play volleyball for Panathinaikos in 2018-2020 after two years as he has agreed to return. The 26-year-old blocker’s contract runs for a year.
“Panathinaikos AO announces the start of cooperation with Ilioni Kelesides for the 2023-24 competition season for the women’s volleyball division. The 26-year-old Center (1.90 m), daughter of the late Panathinaikos cyclist Ilias Kelesidis, will dress in the “green” again.
Kelesidi has been instrumental in helping the ‘Cloverleaf’ in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons and is expected to continue strengthening the team in achieving their goals this year“, it says in the statement of the Greens.
“I’m happy to be part of the Panathinaikos team this year. I would like to thank the club for the trust they have placed in me and I will repay it as best I can. My wish for the new year is that we achieve all of the team’s goals“explained the new player from Trifyllios.
