Aris Women’s Volleyball: Skoulikaris back on the team bench
Aris announced the return of Manolis Skoulikaris to the bench of the club’s women’s volleyball team.
Manolis Skoulikaris was chosen by Aris to sit on the bench for the club’s women’s volleyball team. After almost 13 years, the 54-year-old coach is returning to his usual places.
The corresponding announcement in detail: “ASARIS and the Women’s Volleyball Department announce the start of a collaboration with Manolis Skoulikaris, our team’s new coach.
Manolis Skoulikaris was born in Thessaloniki on September 28, 1969 and has many years of experience both as a coach and as a volleyball player. Besides ARIS, for which he played in the 1995-1996 season, he also played for Ethnikos Alexandroupolis (from where he started his first professional steps), Kampaniakos, Makedonikos and Aetos.
The 54-year-old coach started his coaching career in Makedonikos Neapolis’ infrastructure department while working as a coach in the women’s department of Makedonikos Halastras in the First Division from 1996 to 1999. Among other things, he was a coach at Iraklis, Makedonikos Neapolis, Panathletikos Sykeon, Makedones Axios, Anatolia (2005-2010), DASO Oreokastro and Champions Pefkon.
In 2009–2010 he was the coach of the ARIS women’s volleyball team in the A category, while from 2012 to 2018 he was on the bench of the Axios Macedonian women’s team. He spearheaded the Pine Champions women’s team for the next two years (2018–2020) while working in the Pre League in 2019–2021.
