Men’s Volleyball League: Olympiakos welcome Kifissia and only want the three points

On Friday afternoon (25/03, 7:15 p.m.) Olympiakos will host Kifissia in the game that opens the program of the 5th game of the B phase of the Men’s Volley League.

The match between the Olympic SFP and AOP Kifissia opens the program of the 5th and final game of Aigyros of Vifas of the Volley League 2021-22 championship (Gym Melina Mercouri, Renti, 5th game, Vifas, 25/3, 19: 15, ERT-3).

Olympiacos has 17 points and is tied in 2nd place with Finikas, who host Panathinaikos.

After his defeat against Panathinaikos, the red-whites want to counterattack. They don’t want any more scoring losses with the big goal of reversing the scoring situation. This means that at Kifissia the three-pointer is a one-way street.

Italian Olympic coach Alberto Giuliani said: “An important game, we want to get the three points because we need them in the table. It will be important to stay focused and aggressive throughout the game and also have a good reaction because we won’t be complete.

Olympiakos winger Anestis Dalakouras said: “We come after a bad performance in a derby and we have to react and show that it was a bad brace. We need the three points of victory and I believe that we will do everything to get them.

Kifissia comes from defeating Milonas, who was also first in Vifasis. The people of Kifissia will play freely and without stress to create the surprise.

The extreme of AOP Kifissia Giannis Papadopoulos explained: “We have a very difficult match against Olympiakos which will claim the championship. We go to Renti to demand the best. We’ve had a number of injuries lately, like Marks and Costopoulos. We will play without stress, which can help us cope with the demands of the game.

In 33 league games between the two teams, Olympiakos leads Kifissia in wins by 25-8.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane

The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.

The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.

“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”

I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.

I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.

The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.
