Olympic Women’s Volleyball: Lambrousi’s Stay Announced

Gina Lambrousi will remain based in Piraeus while Olympiacos announce the extension of the agreement between the two sides.
The corresponding announcement in detail: “OLYMPIAKOS SFP announces the renewal of its partnership with Gina Lambrousi. The international Greek midfielder signed her new contract and remains in the roster of the club’s women’s volleyball team.

In the near future, Olympiacos will proceed with announcing the rest of the athletes who have agreed to remain in the squad, as well as those who will be transferred.

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.
