Volleyball: The Greek participation in the European Cups are certain
Ten teams will represent Greek volleyball in next season’s European Cups, there could be as many as twelve.
The European Confederation today announced the lists of participating teams in the 2023-2024 European Cups.
Greece will be represented by a total of 10 teams (5 men and 5 women), the number could increase (to 11 or 12) if Pegasos Polichnis (men) or AO Markopoulos Revoil win the Balkan Cup.
The draws for the three European cups (Champions League, CEV Cup, Challenge Cup) will take place on Wednesday 19 July
Greek entries in detail:
MEN
- Champions League (Round 1-3): Olympic FC
- CEV Cup: PAOK, AONS Milos
- Challenge Cup: Panathinaikos, AOP Kifisia
WOMEN
- Challenge Cup: Olympiacos SFP, PAOK, Panathinaikos AO, AEK, ASP Thetis Voulas
*Pegasos Polichnis for men and AO Markopoulos Revoil for women have declared their participation in the Balkan Cup (BVA Cup) and in case of winning will automatically win a place in the Challenge Cup for men and women respectively.
