The great Italian coach Alberto Giuliani responded positively to the Olympiacos proposal on Wednesday morning (January 5th) and will be the new coach of the Red-Whites.
The Olympiacos men’s volleyball team made an impressive move, reaching an agreement with Alberto Giuliani.
The great 57-year-old Italian coach, despite initially reacting negatively to the interest of the red and whites, eventually changed his mind. On Wednesday morning (5th January) we had a reversal of the dates and Alberto Giuliani was supposed to be the new Olympiacos coach.
In his career he has won the Italian championship three times, once the cup, and the CEV cup is in his trophy cabinet. At the same time he led the Slovenian national team to two silver medals at European championships.
This is without a doubt one of the top names in the European training field and one of the most important to have come to our country.
The announcement of the agreement between the two sides is expected later in the day, while his arrival in our country is also expected, where he will find Pagenk, with whom they have worked perfectly in the Slovenian national team.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane
The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.
The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.
“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”
I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.
I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.
The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.

Volleyball players of St. Petersburg “Zenith” beat “Nova” and won their fifth victory in a row in the Super League
St. Petersburg “Zenith” defeated “Nova” from Novokuybyshevsk in the match of the 18th round of the Russian Volleyball Championship.
