New signing Nizetich for Olympiakos
The Olympiacos women’s volleyball team announced on Friday (21/07) the acquisition of 34-year-old Argentina international winger Yas Nizetich, who played for AEK last season.
As announced, Olympiacos Piraeus strengthened the women’s volleyball section on Friday (July 21). the start of his partnership with Yas Nizetich, with the 34-year-old Argentine international capping the winger position.

Nizetich’s Who is Who
Argentina national team captain Yas Nizetich started her career in 2003 with Atlético Córdoba while in 2004 she played for Club 9 de Julio. In 2007, he “flew” from Argentina for the first time, moving to Spain and the 15-15 club. In 2008 he played in France with Paris Saint Cloud, while in Germany he wore the jersey of the Roten Raben Wilsbiburg the following season.
Calais (France), Besiktas, Belediyespor and Ceramiksan (Turkey) were the next “goals” for Nizetich, who played in Italy’s top division from 2017 to 2020, at Pesaro, Novara and Cuneo respectively. In 2020, the Latin American volleyball player returned to France and played for Béziers while playing in Trentino, Italy in 2021/22. Last year, Nizetich played for AEK, which saw them named best winger in the league and MVP of the cup.
