Panathinaikos Men’s Volleyball: Agreed with Ierethuelos and awaiting divorce with Foinikas
Panathinaikos has reached an agreement with Aguirre Ierethuelo and is waiting for the solution of the Cuban passer’s cooperation with Foinikas to complete the transfer.
In the case of Aguirre Ierethuelo, Panathinaikos eventually replaced Ep after the Canadian passer decided to retire.
The Greens acted quickly and found everything in Ierethuelos, however, the Cuban’s collaboration with Foinikas Syros needs to be clarified in order to officially finalize the transfer.
The Syrians have financial problems and cannot afford the player’s large contract, as well as debts from last year.
At least Andreopoulos knows exactly what to expect from Ierethuelos and it remains to be seen how he will fit into the overall ensemble that has been created.
Of course, Panathinaikos’ mission to find a good passer in August was difficult as Ep’s decision to stop playing volleyball at the age of 25 came suddenly.
