After the epic upset against Portugal, the national team meets Turkey in their third game in Group D of the European Championship (17:30, ERT3).

Greece, who have recorded two tie-breaks out of two (1 win-1 loss) so far, are hoping to celebrate their second straight European Championship victory which will pave the way to qualifying for the next round.

Turkey, winners of this year’s Golden European League, have former Olympic coach Alberto Giuliani on their bench but have lost in their first two games (against France and Romania).

“It’s also a crucial game against Turkey, who are still without a win but we know they have great quality. It’s going to be another big fight.” commented Dante Bonifande, who is not particularly worried.
