Turkey 3-1 Greece: Another defeat and obstacles to qualifying from the European group
Greece suffered their second defeat in Group 4 of the European Men’s Volleyball Championship while Turkey celebrated their first win.
Greece won the first set but stayed there and Turkey managed the upset and won 3-1 for the 3rd day of the 4th group of the Men’s Volleyball European Championship.
The Greek team took a 25-22 lead in a fairly uneventful game. Alberto Giuliani’s Turkey were aiming for their first win of the group, managing a 26-24 draw. They did better in the third set and won 25:19. In the fourth set, both countries put up a great fight with Turkey finishing 25-23.
