Milon – Panathinaikos 1-3: He stayed first in +2 and is waiting for PAOK
Panathinaikos defeated Milona 3-1 away, staying in first place and maintaining the +2 from second Olympiakos while now awaiting PAOK in a derby that will make the difference.
Panathinaikos clinched a valuable away win over Milonas in 3-1 sets, maintained their two-point lead in the standings and the upcoming home game against PAOK is significant.

The race
The game didn’t start in the best possible conditions for Panathinaikos as Milonas took a 6-4 lead. Eventually the “Klee” woke up and equalized at 9-9 and eventually managed to take a three point lead at 12-15.
Nonetheless, the hosts got back into the game after taking advantage of some inactivity from PAO, and tied at 16-16.
De Driss and Protopsaltis took another 18-20 lead as the Belgian continued to hand points through to the end of the set which PAO won 24-26 thanks to a finish from Jacobsen.
In the second set, both teams were again tied 6-6 at the start of the set, while Milonas was able to take a 12-11 lead in the middle. The hosts kept the lead until 21:18 and finally won the set with 25:22.
In the third set, PAO left no room for reaction and it’s telling the 10-13 lead with three consecutive aces of protopsaltis.
The “Cloverleaf” then upped the tempo to a very high level and won it 15-25.
In the fourth set, PAO led 8-10, while at a critical juncture PAO led 17-19 and Andreopoulos finished 22-25.
