Panathinaikos – PAOK 3:0: Emphasis three points for the greens
Panathinaikos, who put on an excellent performance and was armed with his serve and block, prevailed 3-0 against PAOK in the second phase of the men’s volley league.
Panathinaikos turned the derby into a walk with PAOK. The greens, which are superior in all areas, easily prevailed with 3:0 sets.
Andreopoulos’ players did almost everything perfectly for most of the game. The reception of PAOK could not stand up to the services of Panathinaikos and from there the problems for Dikefalos started.
The greens pressed with their serve, they worked better in every single area of the game and were able to achieve the easy victory.
The game: At the beginning of the game, both teams advanced point by point until the middle of the first set. At 14-13, first Den Dries and then Andreopoulos’ services let the Greens get away with 19-14.
PAOK reduced to 19-16 but Bassis’ serve then gave Panathinaikos the right to go 1-0 and win the set 25-18.
In the second, the fight between the two lasted to 19-19. At this point, Bassis’ serves again brought about the reversal of the scene after the Greens got away with three (22-19). It should be noted that PAOK asked for four balls in 20-19. Panathinaikos was able to keep this +3 until the final and celebrated the 2-0 with 25-21.
In the third set, Panathinaikos put his foot on the accelerator from the start and, with psychology in the lead, managed to escape the score early and go 3-0 to win the third set 25-16.

Volleyball players of Kazan “Zenith” won the Russian Super Cup for the 11th time
Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” reached the final of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

Novosibirsk Lokomotiv became the first finalist of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup
Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Dynamo Moscow in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3–1 (21:25, 25:20, 25:13, 30:28).
In the other semi-final, which will take place later on Thursday, St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit will meet.
The final match will take place on December 26.
