Russian volleyball player will continue her career in Italy
Russian volleyball player Anastasia Kapralova has moved to the Italian Novara, the club’s press service reports.
The 19-year-old athlete signed a contract until the summer of 2024; she will compete in the new team under number 18. Previously, the volleyball player played for Lokomotiv Kaliningrad.
— I am inspired by the idea of playing in the Italian Championship. Going abroad for the first time is a big challenge, but for me it literally means realizing a dream.
Novara’s offer was somewhat unexpected. “This is a great opportunity for me to grow and learn a lot, playing in a strong team and with many experienced teammates,” said the volleyball player.
Together with the Russian youth team, the player won the U19 World Championship in 2021.
