On Sunday, October 1st, the members of our club had the opportunity to take part in one Special event in the Peace and Friendship Stadium. The Olympiacos Beach Volleyball Academy organized a two-day beach volleyball tournament that is a little different from the others because the The second day was dedicated to the themes of inclusion and friendship and gave young people the opportunity to speak People with neurodevelopmental disorders should actively exercise, knowingly new sport.
The players of the tournament and the members of the academy are looking forward to ours with great joy and enthusiasm We were warmly welcomed at the event and together with the beneficiaries and volunteers we all became an event a great team. The participants played and had fun putting together aces Friendship and inclusion! The aim of this event was to show this sport does not discriminate.
After the game ended, commemorative gifts were distributed to all participants from the Olympiakos team and was honorably awarded with a thank you trophy from the Olympiakos team Best friends of Greece to the Beach Volleyball Academy of Olympiakos, the director Mr. Tsirogiannis and the head of the academy, Ms. Kitsou.
We were joined by Colgate employees who supported us through their participation them the action.
We look forward to meeting everyone again at future events, always with the goal in mind social integration and acceptance.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane
The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.
The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.
“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”
I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.
I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.
The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.

Volleyball players of St. Petersburg “Zenith” beat “Nova” and won their fifth victory in a row in the Super League
St. Petersburg “Zenith” defeated “Nova” from Novokuybyshevsk in the match of the 18th round of the Russian Volleyball Championship.
