Panathinaikos – PAOK 3-0: The greens are easy the first step
Clearly superior to PAOK, Panathinaikos prevailed 3-0 and made the first of two moves needed to qualify for the Women’s Volley League final.
Panathinaikos easily overcame resistance from PAOK, won 3-0 sets and made the first step to qualify for the Women’s Volley League final.
The greens were superior for most of the game, maintaining reception and with more solutions in attack, they won easily.
The match: PAOK put up strong resistance until the middle of the first two sets. In fact, he managed to lead 5-9 in the first game, but Konstantinos’ performances allowed Panathinaikos to quickly close the gap.
The two teams went hand in hand until 4:15 p.m. Back then, Panathinaikos was able to get away three points with a partial 5-3 and then use this lead to 25-22 to win the first set.
In the second set, Panathinaikos got away with three points earlier, but PAOK was able to react and bring the score to 20:20. In the end, the Greens were more effective in attack and went 25-23 to make it 2-0.
Losing that set was evident in hitting the girls of PAOK and Panathinaikos who put on an exceptional performance, edging away early in the score and going 25-15 to comfortably go 3-0.
