Men’s Olympic Volleyball: First Goal Giuliani stays, extended contacts with Travica and Stern
Olympiacos have started planning next season with Giuliani’s stay as a priority while the Red-Whites are in advanced contact with Travica and Stern.
They are planning next season at Olympiakos and for that reason they have already prepared their plan with aim of returning to the titles.
The red-whites have Giuliani on the bench as their first goal and want to comply with the Italian coach’s wishes for this reason.
In them there is the acquisition of players of known value who will be able to make a difference and correct the misspellings of this year’s squad.
In this regard, Olympiacos has made contacts that are at an advanced stage, with two players whose data can raise his level.
The first is πασαδόρος Dragan Travica and the second is the diagonal tonsek star. Travitsa is 35 years old, two meters tall and will be the passer. In his long career he has won many titles at team level and medals with the Italian national team.
For the older ones he is his son Ljubomir Travica, who was a coach at Olympiakos for two years and won the championship in 2003. He continued to fight in his career Treviso, Macerata, Belgorod, Halkbank, Modena, Crema, Milan, Padua while playing in Perugia this year.
Stern, on the other hand, is a cross and the brother of Ziga Stern, who plays in Finikas. At the age of 27, he competes in Italy and Piacenza, while also having gone through them Verona, Wisla, Padua, Doha, Halkbank… At the same time, he knows Juliani well, since he plays for the Slovenian national team, where the Italian coach was.
Of course, the Red-Whites won’t stop there and their aim, once the specific moves are completed, is to continue strengthening the squad at a rapid pace.
