Milos: First test against Chadruga for the CEV Cup
On Wednesday evening (November 22nd, 8 p.m.) Milos will face Tsadruga in the first game between the two teams for the CEV Cup.
AONS Milos is ready for another big challenge, who will welcome the Austrian SK Tsadruga Blaiburg to Kroisos Persis on Wednesday (November 22nd, 2023, 8:00 p.m.) in the first game of the “32” phase of the CEV Cup.
The Neosmirians are living their dream and traveling to the “32” phase of the CEV Cup for the first time and are already celebrating two victories in the qualifying phase.
Milos coach Sakis Psarras said: “We are ready for another challenge and celebration for the Milos men’s volleyball team. We want to lay the foundations for Milos to become a European club and our aim is to pass these tests. Blainsburg is within our reach, but that doesn’t mean they’re a loose team.
We implemented our plans and put the league defeat against Pegasus behind us. Blainsburg’s game depends on Cuban passer Julio Alberto Gomez Galvez making a special play that we have to deal with.
We have the Angel opponent and have to find a solution, as well as for the Hungarian winger Christoph Horvath, who is a complete athlete. The five players play a jump-spin serve and we have to prepare for two difficult games on our way to qualification. It is a game offered to volleyball fans to see a special spectacle.”

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

Kazan “Zenit” defeated “Zenith” from St. Petersburg in the semi-finals of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

In the other semi-final, which will take place later on Thursday, St. Petersburg and Kazan Zenit will meet.
The final match will take place on December 26.
