The 6X6 was won by pioneer AEK, victory for Olympiacos, difficult for Panathinaikos
AEK won 3-0 against Markopoulos and remains first in the women’s volleyball league. Olympiacos defeated Aris 3-1, while Panathinaikos won the game against AO Thiras 3-2.
AEK celebrated its sixth win in as many games and left Mesogeia with the three points for matchday six of the Women’s Volley League.
The cup winners, led by Paskova, easily took a 2-0 lead as they kept the home team very deep in attack and it actually only came to a fight in the third set.
Where the Union was always in the lead with small differences and reached 22:22. AEK led 22:24, Nikologianni made it 24:24 with a block, but Kotsaras’ missed serve and Nikologianni’s outside attack ended the game.
