PAOK – Milon 3:0: In the final of the League Cup of the biceps
PAOK defeated Milonas 3-0 and qualified for the final of the League Cup where they will face either Panathinaikos or Finikas to lift the trophy in doubles matches taking place on May 9th and 13th.
PAOK defeated AONS Milon 3-0 sets and combined with the win they had achieved in the first semi-final with the same number of points, they qualified for the doubles final of the Nikos Samaras League Cup to be played on May 9-13, 2022 .
As can be seen from the variation in the score, PAOK had total control of the game except for the 2nd set where Milonas fought to equalize to make the set 1-1.
The 1st set was a monologue from PAOK as with two big series 4-0 thanks to the active Udris and Petreas, Sotiriou escaped to 20-9 and the set ended 25-15 with the lost serve of Mouchlias.
In Set 2, Milon was 1-2 in front of goal and ahead at +4 (20-16) thanks to Chandrino, Mouchlia, Kaislasalo. With Petreas’ serve and a 3-0 series, PAOK separated 21:21. Brian gave Milonas a 22-21 lead for the last time but Barnes equalized making it 23-22 followed by a mistake from Urcevic and the set ended with Undric and with a 4-0 run PAOK made it 25-22 and the 2 -0 set.
By conquering the two sets, PAOK secured qualification but were also chasing the win. He didn’t relax and achieved victory with leaders Udris, Gatsi and Petrea.
