Russian Voronkova helped Turkish Eczacibasi win the Volleyball World Club Championship

Russian volleyball player Irina Voronkova won the World Club Championship as part of the Turkish Eczacibasi.
The competition took place in Guangzhou, China. In the final match, Eczacibaşı defeated another Turkish club, Vakıfbank, with a score of 3:2 (19:25, 25:23, 25:23, 23:25, 15:9).
28-year-old Voronkova has been playing for Eczacibaşı since 2022, and with the team she won silver in the Turkish Championship and the Champions League.
In Russia, the volleyball player played for Dynamo-Kazan, Zarechye-Odintsovo and Lokomotiv Kaliningrad.
