Kazan “Zenit” beat Surgut “Gazprom-Yugra” in the match of the 12th round of the Russian volleyball championship among men’s teams.
The meeting took place in Kazan and ended with a score of 3–0 (25:23, 26:24, 25:22) in favor of the home team.
Alexey Verbov’s team won their seventh victory in a row in the Super League. Kazan are second in the standings with 28 points.
Dynamo Moscow defeated Krasnoyarsk Yenisei at home – 3-0 (25:19, 25:22, 30:28), Nizhny Novgorod ASK was defeated by Belgorod Belogorye in Tula – 1-3 (20:25, 19: 25, 29:27, 19:25).
