Milonas destroyed Olympiakos’ unbeaten streak in the men’s volleyball league, PAOK comfortably beat Foinikas

Milonas ended Olympiacos’ unbeaten streak by winning the men’s volley league 3-0. PAOK also feels comfortable with Finikas.

Apart from Europe, Milona also makes history in the volley league. He won with the great protagonist Pedro Molina, who scored 18 points, including 6 aces 3-0 Olympiakos in the televised derby of matchday 9 (and last of the first round).

In doing so, he recorded the first victory over the “Red-Whites” in the history of the Volley League. However, despite the defeat, Olympiacos remained at the top of the standings and claimed the informal title of “Winter” champions.

Although both teams won major European Cup victories, Milonas was the one who had the freshness, the energy and, above all, a great serve that caused problems for the “Red-Whites” reception.

What was typical for the “Red-Whites”’ bad day was that the first scorer was Stern with 11 points. Milonas rose to 15 points with these three points and remains in 4th place with -1 from PAOK and has a game less.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane

The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.

The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.

“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”

I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.

I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.

The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.
