Volleyball players from Kazan “Zenith” beat “Zenit” from St. Petersburg in the match of the 19th round of the Super League.
The meeting, held on Sunday in St. Petersburg, ended with the guests winning with a score of 3-2 (25:14, 25:17, 22:25, 23:25, 15:9). The Kazan club achieved its 18th victory in 20 matches, the team is leading in the standings.

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.
