Arina is basking in the love of her loyal fans.
An athlete from Russia, Arina Fedorovtseva, can safely be called a world volleyball star, despite her young age. Once again the athlete proved this in the final series of one of the strongest European championships, leading her team to the prestigious title.
Title defense
Fedorovtseva has been playing in the strongest league in Turkey since 2021. The athlete defends the colors of Fenerbahçe, with which she has already won several trophies. The “yellow canaries” started this season as champions.
Despite the fact that Arina is only 20 years old, she played a leading role in the Turkish team. Fedorovtseva fully justified the trust of Fenerbahçe head coach Stefano Lavarini. The Russian scored the lion’s share of the team’s points in almost every match.
It is difficult to overestimate the contribution of the Russian volleyball player to the success of the team and in the final series of the Turkish championship against Ekzachibashi. In each of the games, Arina was among the leaders in points scored. Thanks to Fedorovtseva’s achievements, Fenerbahçe defended the championship title, winning the decisive game with a score of 3-0 (25:18; 25:22; 27:25).
“We have Arina, but they don’t!”
It is difficult to describe what was happening in the stands of the arena in Istanbul that evening. The Canaries were literally drowning in the support of the fans, who were ecstatic about their second championship in two years. But the solemn ceremony left an unpleasant aftertaste among the personal fans of the Russian volleyball player. At the presentation of individual awards, the experts for some reason ignored Arina, preferring to distribute statuettes to other volleyball players.
But Fedorovtseva will certainly remember the ceremony. The thing is that Fenerbahçe legend Eda Erdem, to whom a monument has already been erected next to the volleyball arena, unexpectedly gave up the right to lift the cup to a Russian woman.
Fenerbahçe fans were not left out either. Arina’s social series was instantly filled with comments from fans with declarations of love, as well as criticism of the unfair distribution of awards.
— Arina, take care of yourself! You are and will always be a real MVP, you can’t argue with statistics. God will take care of you,” wrote a fan with the nickname jimin.mochi_10.
“Don’t let Arina go, leave the entire squad – from coach to player,” Tlgmay responded to information about Fedorovtseva’s possible departure from Fenerbahçe.
“My angel, my ice queen and the future captain of Fenerbahce,” taycon26 admired.
– We have Arina, but they don’t! — 1907volleyball told about the main factor that influenced the outcome of the series.
“I feel nothing but pride, watching you from the stands.” Your ambition, determination and will to win are wonderful, my dear Arina. “I love you so much,” admitted a fan with the nickname l.8_ashima_07
“Bravo, my Barbie is from Russia,” damondiponegoro67 admired.
“I want you to become the captain of Fenerbahçe after Eda Erdem,” wrote kara_meleek_4m.
Soon after winning the championship title, information appeared in the Turkish media that Arina would go to conquer the Chinese championship as part of the Tianjin club, where she could significantly increase the army of loyal fans.
