Belgorod “Belogorye” defeated Novy Urengoy “Fakel” in the first match of the series for third place in the Russian Volleyball Championship among men’s teams.
The meeting took place in Tula and ended with a score of 3–0 (25:18, 25:23, 25:22).
The score in the series up to three wins is 1–0 in favor of Belogorye. The second match of the teams will take place on Thursday, April 25, in Tula. The third game will take place on Sunday, April 28, in Novy Urengoy.
Novosibirsk Lokomotiv beat St. Petersburg Zenit in the first match of the series for fifth place – 3–0 (25:23, 25:22, 25:21). The next game of the series up to three wins will be held in Novosibirsk on April 25.
