Volleyball player “Belogorye” Tetyukhin noted the importance of the Russian championship bronze won last season

Belogorye’s finisher Pavel Tetyukhin said that bronze at the Russian Volleyball Championship at the end of the last season means a lot for the Belgorod club.

Belogorye won a Super League medal for the first time in eight years. The winner of the national championship in the 2023/24 season was Zenit Kazan.

— For me and for the guys who devoted this time to working at the club, bronze means a lot. First of all, psychologically. When we won the last match in Novy Urengoy, I looked at the guys, and they were already smiling and happy. I could see it in my eyes – it had finally paid off: I trained, I worked, [были] difficulties with moving. Faith in the general idea has increased, and it has become clear that we are going in the right direction. Psychologically, everyone exhaled a little. We will continue to do this to win more medals and receive the same emotions. Now we understand: it turns out that this is what winning in sports looks like. You have to work for moments like these.
