Kazan Zenit won the 13th Victory in a row in Super League
Kazan Zenit defeated the Novourengoi “Torch” in the match of the 27th round of the Russian volleyball championship.
The meeting in Kazan ended with a score of 3-0 (25:17, 25:18, 25:23). The most productive player in the winners was Diagonal Maxim Mikhailov, who scored 14 points.
The team of Alexei Verbova won the 13th match in a row in the Super League. Kazan with 71 points heads the standings.
In other matches of the day, the Krasnoyarsk “Yenisei” at home lost to the Novosibirsk “Lokomotiv” – 2-3 (16:25, 20:25, 25:23, 27:25, 9:15), Belgorod “Belogorye” in Tula won over the Ufa “Dynamo -Ural” – 3-0 (25:22, 25:21, 23:21).

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.
