The volleyball players of the Kazan Zenit in five sets beat Lokomotiv in the Super League match
Kazan Zenit defeated the Novosibirsk Lokomotiv in the match of the 29th round of the Russian volleyball championship.
The game in Kazan ended with a score of 3-2 (22:25, 25:21, 25:23, 25:27, 15: 9).
The team of Alexei Verbov with 76 points ranks first in the Super League standings. Lokomotiv (61) is located on the second line.
In the only match of the Russian Women’s Championship, the Kazan Dynamo on the road beat the Yekaterinburg “Uralochka -TNTMK” – 3-1 (25:13, 19:25, 25:18, 25:19).

Kazan “Zenit” became the winner of the Russian Volleyball Super Cup among men’s teams.
On Friday, the Kazan team beat Lokomotiv from Novosibirsk – 3-1 (25:19, 25:17, 23:25, 25:21).
Zenit won the Russian Super Cup for the third year in a row. In total, the Kazan team has a record 11 victories in the tournament. Lokomotiv took part in the decisive matches for the trophy four times, but were defeated each time.
For the first time in history, the Russian Super Cup was held in the Final Four format. All meetings took place in St. Petersburg.

The meeting in St. Petersburg ended with a score of 3-2 (25:20, 25:17, 18:25, 23:25, 15:12) in favor of the Kazan team.
In the other semi-final earlier on Thursday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Dynamo Moscow in four sets.
The final match between Lokomotiv and Zenit will take place on Friday, starting at 19:30 Moscow time.

The final match will take place on December 26.
