NAS Sports Tournament is the first truly large international volleyball tournament with the participation of Russian clubs in three years. And how nice it is that over the past time the level of our teams did not sink. On the contrary, the players of the Moscow Dynamo crushed all rivals, having received a well -deserved recognition.

“Offer any attempts to resist”

The news about the participation of Russian teams in NAS Sports Tournament was a pleasant surprise. The tournament in Dubai gathered an objectively strong composition. In addition to the Moscow Dynamo and Novokuybyshevskaya Nova, teams from leading championships also showed up. For example, Italy was represented by Padova and Grottacsolin. Toulouse came from France, which became the first club to meet Dynamo.

– Specifically, the Toulouse did not look, looked at the Italians. We know the French championship: they are tenacious, play quickly, for sure. Let’s see. This is exactly what we need, ”said Dynamo head coach Konstantin Bryansky in a video published in the Telegram channel of the All -Russian Volleyball Federation.

But not all participants who planned to speak at the tournament reached Dubai. The Poles once again demonstrated an act of Russophobia. The Slepsk Suvalki team refused to travel at the last moment. Moreover, they did not hide that they did not want to play with our teams.

– The decisive factor that influenced the refusal of participation was information about the participation in the tournament of two clubs representing the Russian Federation. After consultations with partners, the Polish Association of Volleyball and the Polish Volleyball League, we supported the position that involves not to enter into rivalry with Russian teams, the statement said on the official website of Sleptsk Suvalka.

But the behavior of Russophobes did not at all embarrass the Moscow team. She won all three matches of the group stage. First, the French (3-1) were defeated, then the Dynamo sorted out the “Padova” (3-0). In the final game, the White-Blue-and-Bench defeated the King team from the UAE (3-1).

In the semifinals of Dynamo was opposed by the Banias team, also representing the local championship. But the Arabs could not impose the struggle to the Russian club, yielding in each of the sets with a difference of more than ten points. The meeting ended with a devastating victory of Muscovites-3-0 (25:14, 25:10, 25:11).

– At certain moments, we dominated that we have extinguished any attempts to resist. At the beginning of the match, there was a successful series of presentations of one of the opponent’s players, we also made unnecessary mistakes, but then everything worked out, ”said the Bryansk“ Match TV ”.

“It seemed that you are playing at the home site”

In the final, Dynamo was to play with an ambitious club from the highest division of the Italian championship “Grottacsolina.” The crazy support of the stands helped Muscovites win a confident victory in three parties with a score of 3-0 (25:23, 25:20, 25:21). Success in a decisive meeting brought the championship title to Muscovites.

– For us, these are fresh feelings and emotions. Of course, we tried not to forget about preparing for the playoffs of the Russian Championship, we rotted the composition. I think that many points turned out. And now we will move on.

The support of the stands was felt. Both local fans and the Russians present here supported the team. Sometimes it seemed that you play at the home site. In fact, any final is a big challenge. And there were special sensations in the game against Grottacolins, ”said the Bryansk“ Match TV ”after the victory.

In addition to the main title, Dynamo volleyball players also acquired individual awards. Pavel Pankova was recognized as the best binder of the tournament. Maxim Sapozhkov received the title of best submitted. Dmitry Zhuk became the best blocking.

After the victory, Bryansky expressed his readiness to return to the international arena in order to compete with all the best teams that will not run from our teams, like Poles.
