Dynamo Moscow volleyball players inflicted Lokomotiv’s first defeat of the Super League season; Zenit St. Petersburg topped the table
Dynamo Moscow defeated Novosibirsk Lokomotiv in the ninth round match of the Russian Volleyball Championship among men’s teams.
The meeting took place in Moscow and ended with a score of 3–1 (26:28, 25:21, 25:19, 25:21).
Lokomotiv suffered their first defeat of the Super League season and dropped to second place in the standings. Dynamo is in fourth place.
St. Petersburg’s Zenit rose to first place in the table, beating the 11th-ranked Gazprom-Yugra on Tuesday – 3-1 (23:25, 25:8, 25:23, 25:19). In another match of the day, Belogorye beat Fakel in three sets – 3-0 (25:20, 25:21, 25:21).
