On May 19, the Disciplinary Commission of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation (VVF) considered the scandalous episode. Voronkov was found guilty of committing a disciplinary violation, the commission recommended that the 55-year-old specialist be disqualified for up to two years.

The executive committee of the VFV will make a decision on disqualification on May 31.
