Triumph Zaksa, European champion for the 2nd year in a row, defeated Trentino in the final
Zaksa confirmed his dominance of European volleyball and became European champions for the second consecutive year with a superb performance with a 3-0 win over Trentino.
Zaksa is (again) European champion. Poland triumphed in the Champions League final in Ljubljana, beating Trentino 3-0 and winning their second consecutive trophy.
Semenyuk led the winners with 27 points, followed by Katsmarek with 13 points, in a night that saw the Poles battling in all sets, culminating in the third they won 30-32.
