Rangel renews for two more seasons with Panathinaikos
Lucas Rangel has signed a new contract with Panathinaikos until the summer of 2024.
THE Luke Rangel will continue his career at Panathinaikos after extending his contract until summer 2024.
The Brazilian center has been playing with the Clover since 2019, in his second term after the previous one of 2016-2017, and this year he played a key role in winning the Volley League and League Cup.
“I’m really happy to have the opportunity to continue fighting for the Klee and I’m really looking forward to the new season. Panathinaikos is building a very strong team and it is my pleasure to be a member of it. I will continue to do my best for the team I love so much”, stated on the amateur site.
After this move, the basic composition of Panathinaikos for the next season is essentially complete, while some small pieces remain to complete the list.
Giri Kovar, who was acquired on Monday, will be the duo of extremes along with Frango, while Vassilis Costopoulos brings more depth to the bench. From there and beyond, the duo of centrals consists, except for the unexpected, of Petreas and Rangel, in the pass Jacobsen, Diagonal Hernandez and Libero Zisis.
