After my meeting with the administration people, I decided not to stay in the team in the new season because the coach’s wishes don’t coincide with my own goals!
But certainly from the side of Panathinaikos and from my side, the door remains open for the future.
It was a great honor and pride for me to be the leader of this team! After 11 years we brought Panathinaikos back to its natural position and won both the cup and the league.
With this memory, I leave the team with only a smile and relief for what we have achieved, no matter how many years pass!
I would like to thank the management and all the people who were there for their effort to meet the demands of this year! All the fans who were there for us at all games and gave us beautiful and unique moments!
Above all, I would like to thank my teammates individually, because if we weren’t a TEAM, we wouldn’t have achieved anything! I love you all..
Finally, I would like to wish you the best of luck for the next season, I’m sure the sky is the limit! I’m honoured”.
