PAOK women’s volleyball: announcement of the acquisition of Vergidou
PAOK announced the return of Olga Vergidou to the team, with the 31-year-old passerby wearing the black-and-white outfit for the second time in her career.

After Katarzina Zaroslinska Krol, it was time to announce the return of Olga Vergidou. PAOK has also settled with Olga Stranzali, American winger Peyton Kafri, Cuban central Lisette Blanco, Nasia Liagi while Merteki, Polynopoulou, Iliopoulou, Klepkou, Papadopoulou and Terzogou will remain in the team.

AS PAOK’s announcement in detail: “PAOK and the women’s volleyball department announce the start of cooperation with Olga Vergidou for the 2022-2023 season.
Olga Vergidou, born on December 17th, 1991 in Thessaloniki, appears as a passerby and is 180 cm tall.
She started her career at Makedones Axiou in 2004 and stayed there for 10 years. The next stop in her career was AO Thira, where she played for three years.
In the 2017/18 season she decided to test her skills abroad and took part in the Finnish OrPo Volley.
The next season he found her on an island after wearing the Pannaxiakos jersey. Continuation in the capital and specifically in Panathinaikos in the 2019-2020 season.
In 2020-21, Olga Vergidou held her first term with the ‘Black and Whites’, winning the first and historic trophy of the federation’s women’s volleyball division with the PAOK jersey.
Last season he played in the AEK jersey and showed excellent performances.

At the beginning of her collaboration with PAOK, Olga Vergidou stated on the association’s official website, acpaok.gr: “I am very happy to be back after a year in Thessaloniki and PAOK, with whom we won our first title together.
