“Russia will be greatly missed. It’s a shame and a pity “- Ilinykh about the upcoming World Cup 2022 in volleyball

The sports director of Belogorye, Dmitry Ilyinykh, named the favorites for the upcoming 2022 Volleyball World Championship, and also noted that the Russian team would be missed at the tournament.

Initially, the 2022 Volleyball World Championship was supposed to be held in 10 cities of Russia from August 26 to September 11, but due to the situation in Ukraine, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) moved the tournament to Poland and Slovenia. The Russian national team is deprived of the right to participate in competitions under the auspices of the FIVB.

– I will take Poland and Italy to the favorites of the upcoming World Cup – their youth has grown. The same Serbs should never be excluded. The current Olympic champions France, or the Slovenians, who played in the last two European Championships in the final. Also America, Brazil. And Russia will be greatly missed there. It’s a shame and a pity for our team, – quotes the words of the Ilinykh “Championship”.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane

The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.

The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.

“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”

I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.

I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.

The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.
