Panathinaikos and PAOK won, while Thetida beat AEK

Panathinaikos defeated Porphyras 3-0 in Game 18 of the Women’s Volley League. PAOK defeated the Amazons while Thetida beat AEK 3-1.

Panathinaikos continued their winning streak in the Women’s Volley League, beating Porphyras 3-0 in the final match before their Challenge Cup match against Tenerife. In the first set, Panathinaikos didn’t find it difficult to build up a sufficient lead (21:16) for the 1-0 set (25:20).

Porphyras started the second set strong, scoring a +4 (2-8) difference to level the greens. Towards the end of the set, where the hosts pressed the reception of the guests with Metaxa in service and made the 2-0 set with 25:23 Konstantinos with polyphony in attack.
