AEK Women’s Volleyball: Konstantinidou in the Union
AEK announced the acquisition of Lamprini Konstantinidou who will strengthen the women’s volleyball team next season.
AEK announced the acquisition of Lamprini Konstantinidou. The 25-year-old passer (1.85m) will be the one to share the Union game after her exceptional year at AO Thira.
The team’s announcement in detail: “AEK is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Lamprini Konstantinidou. The 25-year-old (16/09/1996), 1.85m tall, has signed a one-year contract and is included in the roster of the federation’s women’s volleyball team.
Lamprini Konstantinidou started volleyball from the Academies of Iraklis Thessaloniki. From 2010 to 2014 she played in the Giraios women’s team and gained her first experience in the Volley League. He followed the journey to the other side of the Atlantic, where he combined college and volleyball at the University of Texas. Upon her return, she signed for Olympiakos, with whom she won the double in 2019 while wearing the Aris shirt in the 2019/20 season. The 2020/21 season started in Thetida Voulas to “move” to Israel and Maccabi Haifa (4th place in the league and finalist in the cup final) in December. Last season he wore the shirt of AO Thira and reached the Greek Cup final.
At the same time, our national team is international, and it has gone through all the small age groups of the “Blue and Whites”.
